FIRST SESSION OF CLASSES

CERAMICS

We will sculpt, slab and coil...not just paint molded pieces.

Projects may include, but not be limited to: candelabras, dinner settings, chess sets, sculpture and wall hangings.

SILK PAINTING

Design and paint your own wearable art!

Students may choose to create a piece from several sizes of already hemmed silk scarves. Other styles of silk, ready to paint clothing can be ordered upon request.

PAINTING & DRAWING

We will study color mixing, water colour, charcoal and graphite pencil. Several drawing techniques will be presented.

Subject matter will be from both life and photography.

A BEGINNING JEWELRY CLASS

Everyone can create a piece of jewelry.

This class is in lost wax casting and begins with sculpting a wax model, and then casting it in silver. For all ages....no skills required, fun for everyone.

We hope to expand to other local artists and additional curriculum.
